Who am I? This is the question the homonym workshop attempts to answer. This question is triggered by the conflict of cultures and identities. The poster focuses on this very contrast between the person and their environment, but also on the difficulty of understanding how to behave in a new context. The image we created, brings together two elements of different cultures, behaviors and rules that often happen to live in the same city and meet at the same public space. We went to the popular and cheap meat market Kapani, in Thessaloniki, where the obvious violence and the not so pure environment prevail. There, we put a man in a clean suit, somebody apparently foreign to this area, socially, economically and behaviorally. We decided not to show any faces, because in the place of the environment or man, could be anywhere and anyone. Typography is carefully used to complement the image, but with an experimental twist, like the workshop itself.
