Print Design



Print Design for the Chinese New Year's celebration event of the Chinese Confucius Institute of Düsseldorf. To each Chinese year corresponds an animal and an element. This is the year of the rooster and the fire. Apart from the poster, we designed the flyers, the program and the tickets for the event. We chose to use clear typography and color separation (red and orange) for the bilingual texts of the prints. The rooster tail is dominant and, except for the decorative element, it intends to draw the interest and raise the viewers' curiosity so that they view it as a”whole” at the event. The color palette refers to the element of fire and also to the national colors of China.
